Personal information:

·         In the personal information section, you are supposed to give in your name, your email, date of birth, address, country, city, state, Pincode, your mobile number, gender. Then you have to upload your passport size picture. Also, you need to upload a picture having your signature. Next, you also need to give an id proof that can be your driver’s license or voter’s id.

·         Note that the size of your passport size picture and signature must be between 50KB to 150KB. And your id proof picture size should be between 50KB and 200KB.

·         Next, you have to choose the option yes or no for the SC/ST category.

·         Other details like whether you have any disabilities, your role, how did you come to know about the courses and other details.

·         Once you’re done filling in all the details, you just have to click on “Save & Continue” option.

Student specific details:

·         In this section, you need to give in all your details like your college country/state/city. Your college name, your degree, the department, etc.

·         Then you have to choose the year of study.

·         Similarly, in the next option, you need to choose yes or no depending on whether or not you’re taking this exam for credit transfer.

·         Then you have to mention whether NPTEL can share the result with your college or not and then Click the “Save & Continue” button.

·         Next comes the page where you will get the course options. On the bottom, you will find the add course button, click on it then add courses of your choice. You also have to select an exam day once you choose the course.

·         Note that you also get the option to choose the city of your choice. Thus not only you can choose the exam day but the city as well.
